Admission To NUMS: This is with regards to the advertisement about NUMS Consolidated Admission for First Year MBBS/BDS – Sessions 2021-22 for Public and Private Sector Medical & Dental Colleges published in the Jung and Dawn Newspaper on Wednesday 27th October, 2021 and Sunday 31″ October 2021 respectively.

For those applicants who failed to apply in NUMS Public and Private Institutions owing to delayed result of FSc/A-Level exams, portal for admissions in MBBS/BDS session 2021-22 in Public and Private sector medical and dental colleges will reopen from 15 January till 25th January 2022. Following is the schedule of activities:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students from Pakistan can apply for admission to the Army Medical College in Rawalpindi. This includes candidates from the AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan.
  • To apply for open merit seats at Army Medical College Rawalpindi, you must pass the PMC-MDCAT with a score of at least 65%.
  • In order to apply to Army Medical College Rawalpindi, you must have taken the NUMS Entry Test 2021 (held on October 3, 2021).
  • A FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent with at least 12 years of education.
  • For the admission policy to be in line with the PMC, students will get points for their HSSC or FSc science electives in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Math. The student who wants to apply for the scholarship must have a cumulative score of at least 65% in their FSc, A-Level, or other HSSC qualification, as required by regulations.
  • Students who are taking their FSc in 2021 and who are applying on the basis of their last year’s FSc. results or on the basis of their A-Level results will have to follow this policy.

Weightage Formula for Admission:

  • F.Sc (Pre-Medical)/HSSC/Equivalent 25%
  • NUMS Entry Test 25%
  • PMC-MDCAT 50%
