Every year, during the months of May and June, the AJK Board holds the annual exams for 11th and 12th graders. Thousands of students from all over the state of AJK take part. The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) AJK is in charge of these intermediate-level exams every year. Two separate sessions are set up by the AJK Board. They both have written and practical papers. The written and practical tests are given by the board in May and June, respectively.
