Is MDCAT mandatory for admission in MBBS/BDS?

Yes it is compulsory for a candidate to pass MDCAT with 60% marks for seeking admission in medical or dental college.

What are passing marks for MDCAT?

According to Pakistan Medical Commission Admission rule Minimum 60% are required to pass the MDCAT examination.

Does Medical College can admit awaiting student if some students are terminated/left?

According to PMC rule if a student admitted in medical or dental college. And due to some reasons a student is terminated or left the school within 60 day. A college can admit new student to fulfill their vacant post.

After passing 60 days no college is allowed to admit any student. If a seat remains vacant after closing date of admission. With in 30 day a student of any medical or dental college can transfer and fill that seat.

A student who will pass the MDCAT exam and have 65% in F.sc are eligible for admission in medical or dental college of Pakistan. If a student appears in 1st merit list then He will have to submit Rs.200000 in respective Bank of the related college to confirm their admission.

If a student fails to submit the remaining fee of medical within 7 day. His admission will be cancelled and his deposited fee will be refunded.

No medical college is allowed to increase annual fee more than 5%.
