THE PMC COUNCIL’S DECISIONS September 28th, 2022, Islamabad: At the PMC Office, the Pakistan Medical Commission Council met. The council discussed multiple PMC agenda items pertaining to various problems. The members of the Council unanimously agreed that the MDCAT exam would be held on November 13th or 20th, 2022.
MDCAT 2022 Updates:
PMC will administer the exam through provincial public universities in all provinces except ICT on the same day and time. Bolan University of Medical & Health Sciences (Baluchistan), University of Health Sciences Lahore (Punjab), Khyber Medical University Peshawar (KPK), Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi (Sindh), and Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University Islamabad have decided to hold the MDCAT examination for Pakistani students (ICT, AJK, Gilgit Baltistan).
It is agreed that the MBBS pass rate would be 55% and the BDS pass percentage would be 45%. To assist students in adjusting to Pakistani medical and dental universities, the Council reduced the pass percentage.

Students can choose the exam centers mentioned above. Remember only one seat can be scheduled per student as per seats capacity of the center.
One student can apply at only one exam center.
In some cases, students may exceed the seat availability. In this situation, students may be transferred to the nearest city center.
Eligibility Criteria For MDCAT 2022:
- Minimum 65% marks in Fsc with subjects Biology, Chemistry, Physics/ Math.
- Results waiting for students can also apply.
- Foreign students/ Dual nationality holders can also apply for mdcat 2022 exam.
How to Apply:
To apply for MDCAT 2022 simply visit the PMC site www.pmc.gov.pk. Go to the MDCAT portal and fill out the registration. Remember you must have passport size photo and copy of your CNIC.
An electronic challan should be filled and pay the fee of RS.1500. That’s it now you are registered for MDCAT exam.
Original copy of fee challan should be sent to PMC official address.
