PMC MDCAT 2023 Final Examination Revised Schedule

PMC MDCAT 2022 Schedule for the session of 2023 on August 27, 2023. Final date for the MDCAT test in 2023 has been announced by the Pakistan Medical Commission. MDCAT 2023 & Eligibility for Admission in Medical and Dental Colleges: MDCAT will be conducted by provinces.

Criteria will be as old Fsc marks 40%, Matric marks 10%, MDCAT 50%, and 10 % for Hafiz e Quran and disabled students. MDCAT will be physical. Everything’ll be accordingly to the old system before PMC. Students do not pay any fees again. The same fee will be retained. MDCAT 2022 Passing Percentage for Admission in Medical and Dental colleges:

PMC MDCAT 2023 Revised Schedule:

THE PMC COUNCIL’S DECISIONS September 28th, 2022, Islamabad: At the PMC Office, the Pakistan Medical Commission Council met. The council discussed multiple PMC agenda items pertaining to various problems. The members of the Council unanimously agreed that the MDCAT exam would be held on November 13th or 20th, 2022.

PMC will administer the exam through provincial public universities in all provinces except ICT on the same day and time. Bolan University of Medical & Health Sciences (Baluchistan), University of Health Sciences Lahore (Punjab), Khyber Medical University Peshawar (KPK), Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi (Sindh), and Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University Islamabad have decided to hold the MDCAT examination for Pakistani students (ICT, AJK, Gilgit Baltistan).

It is agreed that the MBBS pass rate would be 55% and the BDS pass percentage would be 45%. To assist students in adjusting to Pakistani medical and dental universities, the Council reduced the pass percentage.

MDCAT 2022 Analysis:

The MDCAT was successfully held in 22 Pakistani cities and 6 international cities. The centers were spread over Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad Capital Territory, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The centralized computer-based assessment system has produced a large dataset to help evaluate graduation education in Pakistan.

These candidates had the greatest overall pass percentage with 42.82 percent of Punjab students, 38.09 percent of Azad Jammu & Kashmir students, and 46.10% of Islamabad students attaining 65 percent or above on the MDCAT.

Punjab Province MDCAT 2022:

During the previous MDCAT 2022 examination, a total of 100160 candidates took part in the PMC test. 42890 people were successful on the test. However, just 42.8 percent of those who attempted the test were successful.

Singh Province MDCAT 2022 Analysis:

The MDCAT was taken by 34,932 students. The MDCAT was successfully completed by 7,811 students, yielding a pass rate of 22.3 percent in Sindh.

KPK MDCAT 2022 Data:

• 41,690 Students took the MDCAT
• 12,225 Students passed the MDCAT
• 29.3% Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pass Percentage

Baluchistan PMC MDCAT Analysis:

MDCAT was taken by 7,285 students. The MDCAT test was passed by 1,540 students in the year 2021. Baluchistan has 21.1 % of the candidates who Pass the PMC examination.

Islamabad Capital Territory:

• 4,664 Students took the MDCAT
• 2,150 Students passed the MDCAT
• 46.1% ICT Pass Percentage
